Gladstone Ports Corporation engaged Drake Maritime in 2025 to undertake a review of the marine pilot transfer arrangements at the Ports of Gladstone, Rockhampton and Bundaberg.  The review investigated Australian best practice in this field, analysed helicopter and launch transfers to assess the ‘best-fit’ solution for the ports and their marine pilots.

 

North QLD Bulk Ports engaged Drake Maritime in 2025 to review shipping and maritime operations at the Port of Hay Point to develop a detailed Scope of Works to define a work plan for a tender for a Port Wide Risk Assessment. 

 

Drake Maritime prepared a business case in 2025 for North QLD Bulk Ports for the development of a hard stand facility to enable the import and export of containerised cargo and heavy lift cargoes through the Port of Mackay.

 

Drake Maritime undertook in 2023 for North QLD Bulk Ports an assessment of the opportunity for the Port of Mackay to increase trade.
