Spanning over 30 years, Rod’s professional experience includes a 20-year corporate career in the energy sector, including the oil and gas (upstream, mid-stream and downstream) industry and the electricity industry, having worked with APA, ConocoPhillips and Ergon Energy. Rod’s initial career was in bulk commodity exports where he was responsible for commodity and foreign exchange risk management.
Rod’s experience as a General Manager at APA spanned the development of infrastructure, commercial management, contract negotiation, risk management, strategy development, engagement (government and regulators) and business transformation / improvement.
